Mary (Molly) Work is a Licensed Clinical Social worker in downtown D.C. providing psychotherapy to adults, couples and those with disabilities. Mary specialties include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions and trauma. Mary is differently-abled herself and knows that people with disabilities population has the same issues as the abled-bodied population.
However, people with disabilities have an added set of issues. Mary brings her strong clinical skills as well as her life experiences to her practice. Mary believes everybody has the right to live as independently as they can.
Mary earned her MSW at the Catholic University in 2005. She attends workshops to keep her skills sharp.
Mary creates a safe place for people to work on the issues that matter to them. She believes in the importance and healing value of the therapeutic relationship. Mary approaches the therapy as a collaborative relationship between her and the client. She is a strong believer in self-autonomy and is passionate about helping her clients find their own solutions.
